Darla is a lovely 50 pound SPAYED mixed breed girl, about 8 months old. She is quiet and happy to sit by your side but when the leash goes on look out! She LOVES her walks and is quite strong. She was very gentle taking treats and knows how to sit!
Dawson 4/25-0736-Such a precious youngster. Dawson is mellow and sweet. He is tall and thin, medium sized about 35 pounds. His ears give him so much character! Dawson is an easy keeper in the kennel.
Denver-4/27-0751-Such a LOVELY young man! Denver has great manners and a sweet disposition. He is a frequent flyer with us and it looks like this time his family chose to not reclaim him. Please do your research on the breed BEFORE you decide to come meet Denver or any of our other charming blue eyed beauties! We currently have 4 impounded Husky types.
Dharma-5/2-0285- Beautiful 60 pound SPAYED brindle and white shepherd type mix. An older couple called for help. Dharma had a litter of puppies and after that they had her spayed, but they didn’t get the puppies sterilized so they had puppies. They were all feral except for mama Dharma. They had them all running loose and were just throwing food out to them. It’s so important that you are prepared for companion animal’s and you give them all of the care they need, that includes not allowing them to reproduce in our already saturated world.
Draco-4/25-0729-Despite his forlorn look Draco was quite animated on our walk about today. He ruffed it up with some of the other barking inmates, tried to steal a few kibbles, and bumped noses with the quiet ones. He is a calm boy with people, about 50 pounds and happy to have attention. I get the feeling he will not back down from a challenge. He did not try to pick fights today but he will stand his ground. He will probably do best with a same sex companion.
Hyacinth-5/4-0661 DSH Lynx Point, Siamese type petite young adult female.
Lilac-5/5-0791-Beautiful DSH Russian Blue type young adult female, we are using Russian Blue to describe her color, we have no idea about her breed heritage.
Lily-4/25-0714 DSH Calico SPAYED female. Some of you may remember seeing this sweet girl posted all over Facebook after being found underneath a vehicle, she was panting, overheated, and her feet were very hot from the asphalt. Luckily she found her way to the animal control shelter and got the care she needed. Lily is now looking for a safe indoor home and a fresh restart!
