Monroe County Animal Control's Pets of the Week – Monroe Evening News


Three dogs and two cats are among the many future pets that are available for adoption at the Monroe County Animal Control. Anyone interested in adopting a pet can call the shelter for information at (734) 240-3125.
This week’s Pets of the Week are:
Apollo is male pit mix, about 6 to 7 years and weighs about 85 to 90 pounds. He is being treated for heartworm. He is friendly and playful. Unknown with cats and dogs. Would love a calm home environment. Rescue welcome with completed 501c3.
Nel is a female long-hair, brown tabby. She is spayed and is about 4 to 5 years old. She is sweet and friendly; unknown with cats and dogs.
Rosalee is a female spayed, gray tabby about 3 years old. She is sweet and friendly, loves to nudge the camera and loves chin rubs. Unknown with cats and dogs.
Skittles is a female spayed pit mix. She is about 2 to 3 years old, weighs approximately 40 pounds and is very sweet and friendly. Would love to steal a spot in your bed. Would love a fenced-in yard to run and play in. Likes the pool. Unknown with cats. Dog friendly if properly introduced.
Sweetie is a female pit mix, about 1 to 2 years old and weighs about 35 to 40 pounds. She is smart and eager to learn; playful and energetic. Would love a fenced-in yard to run. Unknown with cats. Meet and greet with other dogs required. Needs a patient owner.
