They are the football power couple who usually take to the pitch on the same side. Chelsea stars Jess Carter and Ann-Katrin Berger helped the West London women's team lift the Women's FA Cup back in May.
But when the former Birmingham City players arrive at Wembley for the Euros 2022 final on Sunday it will be on separate teams: Carter for England and Berger in goal for Germany.
On Tuesday the Lionesses roared into the final of Euro 2022 after thrashing Sweden 4-0. Sarina Wiegman's women will now play Germany after they beat France in a dramatic 2-1 bout.

According to the Daily Mail, Carter and Berger have been an item for four years. The pair began their relationship with a low-key date at an Indian restaurant in Solihull.
Defender Carter, 24, and goalkeeper Berger, 31, became close after the German joined her at Birmingham City in 2017. Posting a picture of the pair, Chelsea FC Women joked: "Well well well, we'll be seeing you both at Wembley!"
Ann-Katrin Berger currently has three caps for the German national team while Carter has made 10 appearances for the Lionesses.
Speaking in 2017 after winning Young Player of the Year at the PFA Awards, then 19-year-old Carter said: “It could have gone to any one of the girls that have been nominated because I think they’re all exceptional. It’s a massive, massive privilege to collect this award.
“I don’t set any goals. My main focus is just playing for Birmingham because they’re my club and I want to perform for them week in and week out. Anything that comes with that is just a massive privilege.”
